Jefunira does *NOT* allow parents to opt OUT of a photo release. Sign their release OR your kid can *not* attend camp!!!! Parents have no rights!!!!!
Instead of discriminating against families who don't want to have their children's image/likeness used in Jefunira's advertising (video, photos, press releases, internet, etc...) -- Jefunira should follow the example of large well established children organizations (ie: Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts) and allow families to OPT OUT of advertising and promotions. Forcing compliance is discriminating and unethical.
Hello from all the Jefunira Directors- we're very excited about our new blog and podcast, and hope you enjoy it. We'll be adding new content on a regular basis, including updates on exciting activites we're preparing for the summer, camp stories that you can download and listen to on the go and even some guest camper reviews of websites, books, or games they think other kids would like! We'll also have some content for grown-ups, such as our thoughts on the camping industry and other education/kid related matters. We also have a podcast channel on iTunes which you can subscribe to by clicking on the "Subscribe to Feed" button below- its free to subcribe, and your iTunes will automatically download all the new videos, podcasts and stories we post here!
We'd also love to hear your thoughts and feedback, or any suggestions on content you'd like to see here-thanks for your help in making our blog 'a cool place to be'!
